The Biological Innovation Network actively engages in skill development programs aligned with the National Skills Qualifications Framework(NSQF) and the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council(LSSSDC). These initiatives are supported by the National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC) and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship(MSDE), Government of India.
Industrial Job Roles
The network offers programs designed to prepare students for specific job roles in the life sciences industry, such as those in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, and agricultural biotechnology. The NSQF-aligned courses ensure that students acquire the technical and vocational skills needed for these roles, making them more employable in the industry.
Hands-on Training and Apprenticeships
Through partnerships with industries and research institutions, students are provided with hands-on experience. Apprenticeship programs embedded into the curriculum allow students to work on real-life projects and gain practical skills that are highly valued in industrial settings.
