The bioentrepreneurship ecosystem within the Biological Innovation Network encourages students to consider entrepreneurial ventures as a viable career path. This ecosystem provides various resources for aspiring bio-entrepreneurs.
BioNEST and E-YUVA Centres
Supported by BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council), BioNEST and E-YUVA Centres offer incubation support, mentoring, and funding opportunities to student entrepreneurs. These centers help students develop their biotech innovations into commercially viable products.
Atal Incubation Centres(AICs)
Under the Atal Innovation Mission(AIM), the network provides students with access to incubators, where they can receive guidance on launching startups, access funding, and utilize facilities for prototyping and testing their biotech solutions.
Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP)
C-CAMP plays a pivotal role in helping students transition from research to entrepreneurship by offering bio-incubation facilities, mentorship programs, and access to funding. Through C-CAMP, students can learn how to bring their scientific ideas to market, helping them become innovators in the biotech industry.
